Control centers:

The most important activities of GDB d.o.o. are its control centers. As a value added reseller partner of one of the world’s top producers of software for control centers, the Canadian company SNC Lavalin ECS, we offer the following:

• setting up Distribution Control Centers in full SCADA/DMS functionality;
• setting up Transmission Network Control Centers in full SCADA/EMS functionality;
• setting up Quality System Control Centers for electrical power generation in complete SCADA/GMS functionality;
• training and educating our customer’s technical staff;
• maintenance of the systems set-up based on the 24/7 system.

The GENe© software package which is based on the open system architecture and can be applied in various Unix platform environments, as well as Linux and Microsoft Windows© operating systems, is used in all the above-mentioned applications.

Within this activity, GDB d.o.o keeps a Distribution Control Center at Elektro Maribor and Elektro Gorenjska. The fact that these two centers are the only two in the field of the Slovenian Electrical Economy, which have successfully passed the technical inspection and were given a positive review by an independent professional institution (EIMV).
